With a few days left of the second trimester, MrL and I wanted to break up the trip back home as much as possible...any excuse for a longer holiday.

The Journey to Meeting Chance

My little Sagittarius was born on the 10th December 2015 at 11:18am; not only Chance’s birthday but also Human Rights Day and Alfred Nobel Day; the latter a nod to his Swedish roots.

Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free?

Image from Lydia Hearst's Instagram

Earlier this week the breastfeeding debate was ignited yet again...Lydia Hearst posed (rather glamorously) in a restaurant breastfeeding 2 dolls, for the Equinox gym #committosomething campaign. I personally loved the campaign, and as per usual there was a whole camp who hated it.

CHANEL Ballerina Flats - £400

28 Things you should invest in for month 1 of parenthood

I waited 270+ days to meet my beautiful baby boy, and I certainly wasn’t prepared...I hadn’t packed my hospital bag, hadn’t printed off my birth plans (I had 2 just in case I had to have a c-section), I hadn’t scheduled my blog posts and I certainly hadn’t slept as much as I should of.
I will talk about what was in my hospital bag later, and the first few moments of meeting my son...those posts are certainly long overdue, but for now as Chance hits 5 weeks I will focus on how to get through the first month of parenthood, or the things that helped me.

The ‘breast’ maternity lingerie

My mother has always stressed the importance of underwear to me, ever since I was a little girl and she used to my iron my knickers...something she still does to this day! She always exclaimed, ‘make sure your underwear matches, you don’t want the paramedics to forgo saving your life, if you get run over!’
